NASA transports are the largest traction vehicles ever built. Although the conveyors exceed 5000 horsepower, its maximum speed is two kilometers per hour when fully loaded.

Eleven people are needed to drive such a device. Moved by diesel as fuel it spends about 350 liters per kilometer.

The transporter functions to move NASA space shuttles from the Assembly Building to the Launch Module at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, USA.

Two of these great machines have operated since the Apollo missions and have been running more than 4000 kilometers, at all times maintaining their structure and functionality in perfect condition.
